Services available

Check ups, family planning, cervical smears, pregnancy tests, vaccinations, minor surgery, liquid nitrogen freezing therapy, and diabetes clinics, cholesterol reduction education, sports medicine, skin checks, paediatrics, ENT, injuries and accident care.

Fees and billing arrangements

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, credit card or online banking.

If paying by internet banking please annotate your name and chart number, so that we can allocate your payment correctly.

If you have difficulty paying our fees please discuss this with us. Casual patients not enrolled with us are charged at a different rate.

Unless otherwise specified all consultations are for 15 minutes. Longer consultations may be charged extra.

Consultations for Community Services Card (CSC) holders are subsidised.

Repeat prescriptions

If you require a repeat prescription please contact the receptionist with your request which will be actioned within 24 hours. There is an extra charge if required within 24 hours or faxed to a pharmacy. Urgent script requests must be received before 10am on the day of request.

Reminder system

Our practice is committed to preventive care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system please let us know at reception. Could you please let us know if any of your contact details change e.g. phone number or address?

Management of your test results

It is our policy to contact patients with abnormal results unless informed otherwise. If you wish to be contacted for a result please notify us when you are referred for the test, or you may telephone us for the result.

Management of your personal health information

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Your rights

In providing a quality health service this practice complies with the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights. If you feel your rights have been breached, please let us know. We welcome any opportunity to improve our standard of service and uncover any problems. You may add a comment to our suggestion box or make a complaint verbally, or in writing. Alternatively, should you feel unable to do so you may choose to have the support of an independent advocate from the Health and Disability Commissioners office by phoning 0800 11 22 33.
